The Air Jordan 8 Retro Low “Playoff” was released during the Summer of August 23rd, 2003, and retailed for $110 USD.
This low-top version of the Air Jordan 8 was dressed in a Black, True Red, and Del Sol color scheme. Mimicking the Air Jordan 8 “Playoff” colorway, the shoe features a Black durabuck upper, that includes a multi-colored design on the inner interior as well as on the streaks at the heel. The low-top version also includes the shoe’s traditional lace-straps to provide adequate ankle support for those that wore the shoes to play ball in.
With Jordan Brand releasing several classic and new colorways of the Air Jordan 8 as part of their Air Jordan Holiday 2015 Lineup, should they even consider bringing back the low-top version during the warmer months? Let us know what you guys think in the comments section.
